Karen Graf is a Lecturer of Spanish. She graduated with a B.A. in Spanish from Arizona State University and an M.A. in Spanish Linguistics from the University of Georgia. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Foreign Language Education at the University of Georgia. She has studied and lived in both Spain and Bolivia and traveled extensively throughout Latin America. Her areas of interest include integrating target language popular culture and social media in foreign language teaching and the development of socio-pragmatic competence in the second language classroom.
