Andrea Scapolo is an Assistant Professor of Italian. He enjoys teaching all levels of Italian language and culture courses and applying new technologies and techniques to the learning experience. His research explores the intersection of politics, ideology, cultural production and social activism. He has published on Antonio Tabucchi’s novels, the theater of Dario Fo and Franca Rame, and the reception of Gramsci’s thought in post war Italy.
