Dr. Neysa Figueroa joined the KSU faculty in 2005. She is Assistant Professor of Spanish and the Coordinator of the Lower-Division Spanish Program. She teaches lower-division Spanish courses as well as Advanced Grammar and Linguistics and Spanish Conversation. Her research interests include sociolinguistics, Spanish in the USA, and the teaching of Spanish. After completing her Ph.D. in Spanish Linguistics in 2003, Dr. Figueroa taught at Auburn University for two years.
