Kristen Bell was raised in Leavenworth, Kansas and studied Spanish and Latin American Studies at the University of Kansas. After spending a year in Ronda, Spain where she worked as the American Coordinator at the Programa Internacional de Estudios Españoles she returned to the University of Kansas and completed a Masters of Arts in Spanish Literature. Kristen has taught lower division Spanish at the University of Kansas, the University of Texas, Arligton, Tarrant County College in Fort Worth, Texas, and Emory University.
